About PSNT

The Pakistan Society of North Texas (PSNT), established in 1984, is one of the oldest and pioneering nonprofits, non-governmental organizations serving the Pakistani American community in the United States. For over four decades, PSNT has worked to connect and empower Pakistani Americans while promoting friendship and understanding between the people of Pakistan and the United States.

PSNT is dedicated to fostering leadership, youth development, and civic engagement within the Pakistani American community. Through its programs and events, PSNT aims to strengthen community bonds, celebrate cultural heritage, and encourage active participation in American society.

Each year, PSNT proudly organizes Pakistan Independence Day (Quaid Mela) and Pakistan Resolution Day (Pakistan Day) celebrations. These flagship events bring together Pakistani Americans across Texas and beyond, showcasing our rich traditions, culture, and unity.

PSNT regularly hosts Consular Camps in collaboration with the Consulate General of Pakistan in Houston. These camps provide essential services such as document attestation, Power of Attorney, Life Certificates, and Child Registration, making it easier for community members in Dallas and neighboring areas to access consular services locally.

In 2025, PSNT launched its Student Scholarship Program to support talented and deserving Pakistani students pursuing education in the United States. The organization has also introduced seminars and conferences to inspire youth involvement in local politics, social initiatives, and civic responsibilities.

PSNT works to ensure that community members are informed about their rights and responsibilities as U.S. citizens and residents. Educational sessions cover important topics such as immigration, social security benefits, and healthcare access, empowering individuals to thrive as active members of society.

Through leadership, service, and cultural pride, PSNT continues to build a vibrant, inclusive, and empowered Pakistani American community — one that honors its roots while contributing meaningfully to the diverse fabric of American life.
